Asking price rents rose in most – seven out of eleven – regions last month, but fell 1.07% in London.
The average advertised rent in the UK currently stands at £972, just £35 more than January 2012.
According to property network Move with Us, the general trend is for stability. The firm is predicting growth of just 0.5% in the first quarter of this year.
